Here is Eldar's game from the match against Baddow. A kingside pawn-storm leads to a well-calculated finish in the endgame.
1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 g6 3. Nc3 Bg7 4. e4 d6 5. f3 The Samisch Variation of the King's Indian - White delays developing the kingside and instead supports his centre pawns. 5... O-O 6. Be3 e5 7. d5 White closes the centre - after this the normal plan is to castle queenside and start an attack on the kingside. 7... Nbd7 8. Qd2 Ne8 9. g4 Qh4+ 10. Bf2 Qe7 11. h4 f5 12. O-O-O The computer suggests that 12.exf5 is quite a bit better than this. ( 12. exf5 gxf5 13. g5 e4 14. O-O-O Bxc3 15. Qxc3 and Black's king is looking vunerable. ) 12... fxg4 13. fxg4 Qf7 14. Black playing ...a6 suggests that he might start trying to play on the queenside and moving the king off the back rank allows White to switch is rooks to the queenside and also play on that side of the board. 20... Bxh3 21. Rxh3 Bh8 The bishop is blocked in - but moving it to h8 does not help Black's position. 22. h5 Ng7 23. hxg6 hxg6 24. Rh6 Kf7 25. Rf1+ Ke7 26. Rfh1 Nh5? Black hasn't made any major mistakes but a few sub-optimal moves mean that White now has a winning position. 27. Rxg6! Nf4 28. Rh7+! Rf7 29. Rgh6 Bg7 30. g6! Bxh6 31. Rxf7+ Ke8 32. Nxf4 Bxf4+ 33.
