Colchester A finished in 7th place (out of 9) in NECL Division 1, with three wins, one draw and four losses (two of the losses were on default).
However,
Colchester B finished in 1st place - meaning Colchester have won Division 1 for the first time since the 1996/97 season. It is also the first time ever that the league has been won by a B team. In a very close league, Colchester B won four games, drew three and only lost once. This gave them the same number of match points as Writtle but Colchester had one more board point.
